Introduction

Oncavio, LLC, DBA Oncavio Insurance Services (“Oncavio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a Delaware limited liability company at 1160 Arizona St., Redlands, CA 92374. We operate as an insurance producer. Our National Producer Number is 21634867.

Privacy requests: privacy@oncavio.com.

This policy covers www.oncavio.com, the customer application and account tools on that site, and the related services we use to quote, place, and service commercial insurance. It does not cover websites or portals operated by insurers or other third parties we may send you to.

Information Collected

We collect information you give us, information we create while providing the services, and information collected automatically when you use the site.

Contact and Account Information. Name, company, email, phone number, industry, and any message you send through the site. If you log in, we also keep the email address used for a magic-link login or the name and email address Google provides when you continue with Google.

Insurance Application Information. Information about the business seeking coverage, including legal name, ownership, tax identification (FEIN or, when provided, Social Security number), addresses, locations and buildings, operations, payroll and employee information, requested coverages, values, financials, loss history, additional insureds, and other facts needed to underwrite commercial insurance.

Documents You Upload or Authorize Us to Collect. Loss runs, policies, statements of values, financial statements, photographs, and similar underwriting files. If you authorize us to request a loss run from a current or prior carrier, we receive that report and the information in it.

Communications. Emails, calls, meeting notes, and other correspondence with our team.

Automatic Information. Browser type, device information, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected by our servers as you use the site.

Use of Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and book introductory calls.
  • Create and maintain accounts, verify invited users, and keep the services secure.
  • Prepare, submit, and service insurance applications, quotes, binders, and policies.
  • Extract structured facts from uploaded documents so we can build submissions and review coverage.
  • Communicate about your account, applications, quotes, and policies.
  • Send marketing communications about our services, where permitted.
  • Improve the site and our operations, detect abuse, and comply with law.

We use automated tools, including machine-learning models, to read documents you provide and propose values for an application. A person on our team reviews material we rely on to place coverage. Automated tools do not decide whether a carrier will offer a policy.

Sharing of Information

We share information when it is needed to place or service insurance, run the business, or meet a legal obligation.

  • Insurers and Intermediaries. Carriers, managing general agents, wholesalers, surplus lines brokers, and similar markets receive application data, documents, and related correspondence so they can underwrite and issue coverage.
  • Service Providers. Companies that host our applications and databases, store uploaded files, deliver email, authenticate users, process documents, and provide sales or marketing tools. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Professional Advisors and Authorities. Counsel, accountants, regulators, and others when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the services.
  • Business Transfers. If we sell or reorganize the business, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.

We do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies

We do not use website cookies to track visitor information. The only cookies we set are those required to operate the site, including session cookies that keep you logged in.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies, login and other account features may not work.

Marketing Communications

If you ask us to contact you, or if we reach out about our brokerage services, we may email or call you. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message or by writing privacy@oncavio.com. We may still send service messages about an account, application, or policy.

Retention

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide the services, maintain insurance and regulatory records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Application files, submissions, and policy records are typically kept for the life of the relationship and for a period afterward required by insurance recordkeeping rules.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we are required to notify you of a breach, we will do so as the law requires.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share; to request a copy; to correct inaccurate information; to delete information, subject to legal exceptions; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the services you requested.

Sensitive personal information we may collect includes Social Security numbers or other tax identifiers, account login credentials, and precise location of insured properties when you provide those facts for underwriting. We use that information to place and service insurance, not to infer characteristics for advertising.

To make a request, email privacy@oncavio.com or write to us at the address above. We will verify your identity before completing the request. You may use an authorized agent if you provide proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children

The services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Location of Processing

We operate in the United States. If you access the services from another country, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your country.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the services after an update means you accept the revised policy. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when the law requires it.
